The owners of this stunning and spacious home looked to Signature Illumination Designs to square off and encapsulate the areas of their yard they were most likely to use at night with a custom lighting solution. Along with our partner, Aquaterra, we helped bring premium luxury to this already impressive space.
To complement the stunning pool area, we created a lighting design that helps provide a resort feel to the space. We installed customizable tape lighting along the underside of the bar to create a high-end look and allow the homeowners to easily personalize the space by changing the light color. Arbor lights shine down on the bar from above, keeping the area well-lit and ready for a late-night hangout.
We installed uplights throughout the landscaping that borders the pool and deck area, illuminating the trees and shrubs and effectively creating a “fence” around the space. On the walls of the home, we installed stylish fixtures that illuminate the home’s exterior and highlight the texture of the brick.
In the firepit area, we installed recessed uplights in the gravel to illuminate the trees and keep the space light and bright. These recessed lights are able to provide illumination without protruding up from the ground, creating a more streamlined design and enhancing durability. We added a large lighting fixture centered over the dining table in the gazebo that compliments the light of the outer space so the homeowners can host guests in the evenings.
When designing this space, we opted for bright lighting that helps set it apart from the spaciousness of the backyard and creates a cozy, sectioned-off environment.
